Alex Linden

Alex Linden is the Director of Acquisitions for HPP Equity LLC, working with the acquisitions team, processing extensive research, building broker relationships, leading development through delivery of proformas and market data. He has helped grow HPP Equity’s diversified SFR (single family rental) and multi-family student housing portfolio near Notre Dame in South Bend Indiana as well as Northwest Arkansas, since joining the team in 2023.

Alex Linden has a strong passion for helping others and a keen interest in real estate investment and management. From a young age, Alex aspired to make a positive impact, initially considering a career in medicine before shifting his focus towards housing and investment. Growing up in Illinois, Alex began gaining hands-on experience in real estate by working with his brother on house flipping projects during high school.

Despite starting with limited experience, Alex's dedication and enthusiasm led him to pursue opportunities in the real estate industry. While attending college for a chemistry major, Alex also worked nights at a factory until he came across a job listing for an office manager position in real estate. Despite lacking extensive experience, he impressed his prospective employer, who became a mentor figure to him. Alex's role evolved over the years as he gained valuable experience managing day-to-day operations and overseeing property acquisitions and management as he worked with ownership to grow the portfolio from 80 to 350 units in just a few short years.

Eventually, Alex transitioned to working as a commercial property manager for Holladay Properties, where he further honed his skills in managing larger-scale projects and gained insights into budgeting and finance aspects of property management. Seeking new challenges and opportunities for growth, Alex joined HPP Equity, attracted by the chance to delve deeper into real estate acquisitions and investment analysis.

Now, as a member of HPP Equity, Alex is actively involved in acquiring multifamily properties and expanding the company's portfolio. With just over a decade of experience in property management and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, Alex is poised to make significant contributions to the real estate industry and continue his journey of helping others through housing investments.

Alex met his wife while he was a student at NIU and both have lived in South Bend since 2020.
