Ben Bowerman

Ben Bowerman is the Director of Capital Markets for HPP Equity LLC, working with acquisitions and finance, to secure and build on detailed research, structure debt/capital on the implementation of strategic opportunities. He has helped grow HPP Equity’s diversified SFR (single family rental) and multi-family student housing portfolio near Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, and Northwest Arkansas since joining the team in 2023.

Ben’s lifelong passion for creation and design, stems from his journey that seamlessly blends hard work with diverse experiences. His early years of woodworking fueled DIY projects later in life, epitomized by his love for hands-on craftsmanship, a trait inherited by his father and grandfather, who imparted invaluable mechanical and carpentry skills.  From drafting designs for school projects, paper route’s to property management and ministry, all fueled by a love of service and development of community.

His professional path has been varied and enriching. From overseeing operations in the food service industry to mentoring adolescents as a youth director, and later transitioning into the dynamic world of finance, he has continually sought avenues to apply his skills and drive. With values held in education and service, his time in finance and lending helped thousands achieve their dreams of ownership within their budgets to originate over $100M in personal financed loans.

Originally from Celina, Ohio, Bowerman has lived in the greater Michiana area for the last 34 years. He received a bachelor’s degree from Bethel University, Mishawaka, and is Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage (SAFE) licensed. He has served with several community organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association (IMBA), and St. Joseph Board of Realtors. He currently resides in Mishawaka, with his beautiful wife, son and two daughters.

In February 2023, he partnered with HPP Equity under the mentorship of Justin Kain, growing in areas of need, utilizing his skills to serve with their accounting department, before assuming additional responsibilities within the Irish Gold Management team as its Property Manager. Today, as the Director of Capital Markets, he leads investor relations through strategic growth initiatives, leveraging meticulous research and astute deal-making to propel the company's expansion.
